Born in 1980 in Kozan, Adana, Dr. Saygın completed her primary education at Hürriyet Primary School, followed by her secondary and high school education at Adana Girls’ High School as a boarding student, graduating with success. In 1997, she was admitted to the Faculty of Medicine at Ankara University and graduated with honors in 2003. In the 2004 TUS exam, she ranked high and began her residency in the Cardiology Department at Turkey High Specialization Hospital (TYIH). She completed her residency training in 2009 and served part of her compulsory service at Ankara TYIH and part at Batman Regional State Hospital. After her service in the east, she was appointed to Mersin Toros State Hospital, where she conducted numerous studies and provided significant service. Later, she transitioned to Mersin State Hospital to perform interventional procedures (such as coronary angiography and stenting, and pacemaker implantation). In 2017, with the transfer of Mersin State Hospital to Mersin City Training and Research Hospital, she continued her duties there. Dr. Saygın is deeply involved in areas such as Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Metabolic Syndrome, Obesity, Coronary Heart Diseases, Valve Diseases, Heart Failure, Arrhythmia, Syncope, and Structural Heart Diseases. Believing in the importance of primary prevention and a holistic approach to patients in heart diseases as in many other illnesses, Dr. Saygın left MŞEH to continue her diagnostics and treatments in her own clinic. Dr. Saygın, who believes that healthy living, healthy nutrition, and the psychosocial aspect of heart health are fundamental concepts for both herself and her patients, is proficient in English, married, and has a daughter.
