She was born in Adana in 1958. She completed her primary, secondary and high school education at Mainland College. She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1983. After completing her compulsory service in Ankara Ayas, she received her expertise in Cukurova University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. She retired after working in Mersin State Hospital and Maternity and Pediatric Hospital until 2007. In 2014, she started to work as a Pediatrician Specialist at Private Mersin System Surgery Medical Center.
