He was born in 1969 in Kahramanmaraş. He graduated from Günyüzü Primary School in Konya Cihanbeyli in 1986, Ürgüp High School in Nevşehir Ürgüp in 1986, and his master's degree from Adana Çukurova University, Faculty of Medicine in 1992. He completed his specialization in the Department of Neurology at Dicle University in Diyarbakır between 1999-2004.
