The skin is the body’s largest sensory organ and serves as a barrier that protects it from all external factors. It has many essential functions — such as producing vitamin D, shielding the body from harmful UV rays, and enhancing resistance to infections through its natural acidity. At the same time, the skin acts as the mirror of the body, often revealing the state of our internal organs and signaling potential health issues before they become visible elsewhere.

Therefore, it is crucial to understand and monitor your skin, interpret the signals it gives from within the body, and pay careful attention to maintaining the health of this vital protective barrier.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is one of the most effective and permanent methods for getting rid of unwanted hair. With advancements in technology, it has become a fast, reliable, and virtually painless procedure. Especially in Mersin, our laser hair removal center provides this service under clinical standards, offering patients a safe and convenient experience.

What Is Laser Hair Removal?

Laser hair removal is a procedure that uses laser technology to target and destroy hair follicles, preventing them from producing new hair.
The light energy emitted by the laser device focuses on the hair root, disabling it.
Although it is most effective on darker hair, new-generation devices can adapt to almost every skin type and hair color.

Things to Consider During Laser Hair Removal

  • Consult a specialist before the procedure.
  • Protect your skin from sun exposure between sessions. (Mersin’s intense sun exposure makes this especially important.)
  • Avoid any procedures that may irritate the hair roots before and after sessions. (Our Mersin Laser Hair Removal services are performed under hospital-standard conditions.)

Laser Epilation

Get rid of unwanted hair, under the control of the Dermatologist, with the healthy, fast, safe, comfortable and economical with GentleLASE ALEXANDRITE LASER. This device is the most widely used one all over the world and in Turkey. It is very effective on light skin and black hairs. It provides the same effect safely on dark skin in systems with Long Pulse feature. It is the least painful laser type compared to other laser systems.

What is the Session Time in Laser Hair Removal?

Times vary according to the application area. On average, the upper lip and chin area is completed in 4-5 minutes, while it takes 45-60 minutes on all legs and back. Session breaks are 6–8 weeks.

Laser hair removal can be applied to almost all parts of the body.

The energy produced by the laser is light at a certain wavelength. This light, which reaches the hair follicle without harming the skin, does not leave any residue in the body. The reliability and effectiveness of the laser epilation application was approved in 1996 by the American food and pharmaceutical agency FDA (Food and Drug Association). Applications are safe when done under the control of experienced people and specialist physicians.

No. During pregnancy, the hormone balance changes and thus the hair follicles that provoke it become difficult to be affected. In addition, there are no clinical studies on this subject yet.

In patients with recurrent skin infections, treatment can be given before application. More care should be taken in patients with poor wound healing, such as keloid. Diseases owned by some drug uses are important for application and side effects and must be questioned. The bronze skin should not be applied, it should be waited until it reaches normal color. The application area should be clean, cosmetic creams and makeup should be cleaned.

This application is generally very safe. During application, slight blisters and redness may occur, indicating that the hair follicles are affected by energy. The rash that occurs after laser epilation usually goes away in 5-10 minutes, it can rarely last for 30 minutes. When laser hair removal is performed under the control of experienced people and specialist physicians, the risk of permanent scar and spotting is very low.

With the new technology laser epilation devices, not much pain is generally felt. However, topical anesthetics can be used in people with low pain threshold and sensitive areas if necessary. In the laser with cooling system, the pain is less and the risk of burns decreases since the skin is not allowed to warm.

Root-acting methods such as tweezers, waxing and hair removal cream should not be used before 4 weeks in the application area. In addition, sunlight and tanning should be avoided.

After the application, methods that affect the root such as tweezers, wax and hair loss cream should not be used and tanning should be avoided. Protective sun cream must be used while going out.

The hairs, the roots of which are destroyed by laser epilation, don’t grow again by 80%. This condition, which is also approved by the FDA, has been proven by long-term clinical studies.

After the application, the hair will grow in 3 to 10 days. However, most of these hairs have their roots destroyed and will fall off. A control session can be performed on non-shedding hairs.

There is no difference between laser epilation applied to men and women. Regions such as beard, back, chest, shoulders and nape are more preferred in men. However, it can be applied to all regions except these areas (except the eye socket).

Skin Care Treatments

Facial Care

Medical Skin Care:
A type of skincare treatment performed with medical-grade products, combined with Phototherapy and Ultrasonic Spatula technology to achieve deep medical cleansing of the skin.

Phototherapy:
Used effectively to treat wrinkles caused by sun exposure, aging, or skin sagging due to other factors. It can be safely applied around the eyes, face, neck, and many other areas of the body. It is also known as a beauty-enhancing treatment.

Ultrasonic Spatula:
Utilizes ultrasonic ion technology with vibrations that spread across the entire face. The ultrasonic ion device, known as an ultrasonic spatula, deeply cleanses dirt, oil, blackheads, and makeup residues accumulated under the skin. It helps deliver skincare products into deeper layers with iontophoresis and also provides gentle peeling effects.

Dermapen:
Using micro-needles to create tiny channels on the skin surface, Dermapen delivers customized serums deep into the tissue. It helps tighten the skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, treat smoker’s lines around the lips, minimize enlarged pores, fade acne scars, surgical or burn marks, and improve stretch marks. The number and frequency of sessions are determined by the specialist according to the skin’s condition.

Permanent Makeup Applications

In our permanent makeup treatments, natural and skin-safe products are used to avoid any harm to your skin. All procedures are performed under **medical-grade hygiene and safety standards** for your comfort and confidence.

Eyeliner:
Creates a defined and striking eye appearance by applying pigment along the lash line, giving a natural eyeliner effect.

Dipliner:
Applied to the roots of the eyelashes for a more natural, dense lash appearance. Dipliner products are typically liquid-based with a fine felt-tip design for precise application.

Lip Pigmentation:
A permanent makeup technique using herbal-based pigments that do not react with the skin. It can be applied to the lip contour or the entire lip.

  • Ideal for individuals with scars on the lips,
  • Those with uneven or asymmetrical lip shapes,
  • Those who prefer not to use lipstick daily,
  • And those who wish for fuller, healthier-looking lips.

Microblading:
A semi-permanent eyebrow contouring method designed for women whose eyebrows have thinned over time, have been over-plucked, or are naturally sparse. Using the **3D hair-stroke technique**, it fills and shapes the brows, resulting in naturally defined and well-groomed eyebrows.

Silk Lashes:
A technique that gives the eyelashes a longer and fuller appearance. Fine silk fibers are individually attached to the natural lashes using a special medical-grade adhesive. Depending on maintenance, the extensions shed within 2–3 months. Because they are made from silk, they look highly natural and blend perfectly with real lashes.

Lash Lifting:
A lash treatment that curls and volumizes natural lashes. Known as a **keratin lash treatment**, lash lifting enhances the natural lashes without extensions and provides a long-lasting, lifted effect. The procedure is completely hygienic and safe.

BB Glow:
Also known as the **semi-permanent foundation treatment**, BB Glow combines serums rich in vitamins, minerals, and plant extracts to rejuvenate the skin. The treatment boosts collagen and elastin production, evening out skin tone, reducing wrinkles and blemishes, and giving the skin a smooth, radiant, and luminous appearance.
